Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you use calcoway.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”).

Numbers you enter into calculators

Calculations run in your browser using JavaScript. The values you type are not sent to us or stored by us. Your chosen currency may be saved in your browser's local storage so it's remembered next time; you can clear it in your browser settings.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Fonts

Pages load the IBM Plex Sans typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google's servers.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) and/or Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. Google Analytics uses cookies. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.

Advertising

We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a consent message before personalised ads or analytics cookies are used.

Affiliate links

Some links go to partner websites through tracking links. When you click one, the partner may set cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't sell or share them.

Children

The site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act or US state privacy laws, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to some processing. Contact [email protected].

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
